What happens when I visit the Design Center at GW Homes?
Once your plans have been finalized, you will move onto your Design Milestone.
The first step is a Preview Day set up for you to spend as much - or as little - time as you would like in the Design Center, looking at, touching and putting together possible options for your home. Following your Preview Day, we will set an appointment for your Design Day, when you will have 6-8 hours with our Design Consultant to make selections for your dream home.
How should I prepare for my Design Center appointment?
The best way to be prepared for your design meetings is to do your homework. Your sales consultant will provide you with both a Design Your Home Guide and a Design Your Home Catalog. The Design Your Home Catalog will give you examples of standards and options, from exterior doors to the kitchen sink. Visiting our model and driving through the neighborhood is another great way to get ideas of what you DO and DO NOT want in your own home.
How much should I budget for upgrades?
Everyone one has a different budget, which is why your Sales Consultant will work closely with you during your allowance meeting to determine what your unique needs and wants will be. The allowance meeting does not determine your selections; it is merely a marker to estimate what you may want to add to your home.
Can I visit the Design Center before my plans have been finalized? Do I need an appointment to visit the Design Center?
Yes and yes! You’re always welcome to come visit the Design Center, with or without your Sales Consultant. Just please call first to make an appointment. On Preview and Design Days, the Design Center is set aside for that particular homeowner to relax and enjoy the experience.
