Luxury Design with YOU in mind.
A little bit rustic, a little splash of beach cottage (even if you are miles from the beach), full of texture and subtle coastal colors inspired by the colors of the ocean. Possibly incorporating seaglass or pebbles and warm touches of wood or golden brass—this is a blending of 2 current interior design styles–best described as where the tree-lined road meets the shoreline—a style that’s elegant without being fussy!
Contemporary architectural design that borrows from the past while using modern materials inspired by historic styles. Spacious rooms, elegant layering of textures in colors, luxurious soft fabrics, exquisitely elegant light fixtures, rich and a little darker flooring, patterned tiles with colors of gold or black, effortlessly blending old and new.
Refers to the styles gaining traction today—classic yet thoroughly of the moment and timeless thanks to a light-handed spare take on decorating. Airy neutral colors, clean yet not sharp lines, focusing on architectural elements such as stone (quartzite countertops with full backsplashes), glass (simple but yet dramatic and bold lighting fixtures), and metal (in a striking stainless coffee table or serving piece). A cutting-edge design but inviting.
Combining both spare (i.e., exposed beams) and ornamental elements (a multi-layered dining room fixture) while creating a soothing and serene home by using neutrals and introducing warm tones (as in, wood ceilings or blonde paneled walls). Keeping a bit of drama—for example, a starkly modern and colorful piece of art. Clean lines and some organic and natural touches complete this easy-to-live-with style.

Meet Hannah Kehoe, Design Consultant
At GW Homes, we stay on the cutting edge of homebuilding innovation by continually imagining better ways to serve our buyers and owners. With this in mind, we are pleased to announce that GW Homes homeowner Hannah Kehoe recently joined our Sales and Design team -- to identify and implement a higher level of Design Intelligence in both our Sales and Design products and processes.
While earning a BA in Art History at the University of Michigan and spending time in the Master of Architecture at Georgia Tech program, Hannah's interior design sensibilities flourished under the programs' curricular structure, integrating history, theory, technology and practice with hands-on design studios. In addition, Hannah and her husband recently planned and built a home in a GW Homes community. With this unique experiential knowledge gained by walking through the homebuilding, design and buying process as a customer, Hannah is excited to be part of the GW Homes team and use her expertise to help continue creating the best possible experiences and outcomes for our customers.
Hannah has already become well-versed in GW Homes Design Center selections and processes. She is prepared and ready to meet with new buyers. Additionally, if you have already completed your design packet and have any follow-up questions or concerns, she will be available for design consultations. Hannah is looking forward to helping you design your dream home!
When can I visit the Design Center to see what the selections are?
Your sales consultant will be happy to give you a tour of the Design Center—either when you are still in the contract planning stages or before you have signed your final plans. There are many choices and a hands on tour will give you a great idea of where your journey will take you.
How do I determine my Budget for allowances?
By the time you have your Design Center appointment set with our Design Consultant, you will have worked with your Sales Consultant to determine an allowance budget—this is not a final determination but a guideline amount for your final selections and upgrades.
What advance planning do I need prior to my Design Appointment?
Preparing for your Design Appointments is the next big step. Your Sales Consultant will show you the Design Your Home Guide and Catalog which will give you some examples of our Standards and Options—both interior and exterior. At this point, you will have driven around our neighborhood, been in our models, and have seen what you DO love and Don’t love for your home.
