Our Rebranding Story
The GW Homes Rebranding Story
Celebrating More Than 50 Years of Serving Our Community in Gainesville, Florida and Surrounding Areas.
"Any home builder that has been around for 50 years must provide a quality home and be customer-focused.
From an early age, I have watched from behind the scenes, my parents, GW & Kate Robinson, and their commitment to reputation, quality and integrity with every home and every homeowner.
There are five things I'd say about our organization. They are: we work hard; we orchestrate greatness; we build reputation; we make a difference; and we steward faithfully.
When my father handed me the reins to the company over 10 years ago, I was humbled and considered it a great privilege to lead my parent's company forward. That excellent reputation only happens one home and one homeowner at a time. Ten years ago, I likewise committed to a reputation for excellence that we continue to earn today and will continue forward.
2020 is a transformative year. The home buying process is evolving as technologies are changing. We want to be on the forefront of providing an even more enjoyable customer experience. Now is the time to refresh our brand that we as an organization can rally around as we move into the next 50 years.
As we looked at our company name and our logo, we knew we needed to reflect who we are, while still holding onto principles my father put in place. Keeping my father's name, GW, is inspiring to me. Because it represents keeping the founding principles and commitment to do business in a way that brings Glory to God. It also represents vision-forward thinking.
We are a brand that is very stable and will be around for a very long time. The design of the logo represents clarity, thoughtful design, uniqueness and luxury. I hope people like the new brand, and I hope they understand what that reflects in terms of our 2nd 50 years."
